The End Is Near

Hear, you children, the instructions of a father, and attend to know understanding. For I give you good doctrine, forsake you not my law (Proverbs 4:1).

Fathers train -up your children in the ways of God as he would have them. Teach them the Golden Rule that will guide them as they age. The ways of man are before the Lord, and he ponders all his goings (Proverbs 5:21-23). Teach children to be honest, truthful, and respectful of others. Teach young men that when they marry and have children, they are to train their children up in God's word that will protect them. Teach them to provide for their children, do not abandon them, leaving them to guard and provide for themselves. Teach young women to love their children and husbands, and to be only his companion.
