Mr. Wilson Winston well known as "Mr. WT" to all his fellow students and community. On March 22, 2022, my grandfather will be turning 100 years old, I Krashondra Winston, believe he's one of the oldest residents of Saint Joseph LA and maybe even Tensas Parish still living. He was Army Private in World War II . He also was a bus driver for the former Tensas Rosenwald School where he drove his students on a well-known bus Geronimo, here in Saint Joseph for many years until retiring from the Tensas Parish Board. We will be celebrating him on March 26, 2022 with a parade and a party at the Saint Joseph Amphitheatre on Plank Road from 2pm until the music stops. On February 28, 2022, Saint Joseph LA hosted their First Mardi Gras Parade where Mr. Wilson Winston was honored as the Grand Marshal.
