Congratulations to Northwood Lena High School Lady Gators in Alexandria LA who captured their first basketball Championship and Head and Assistant Basketball Coaches Lashanda and Darius Cooper who both are graduates and former assistant coaches under Coach Emma Brooks at Bastrop High School in Bastrop LA for her knowledge and leadership of building a successful basketball program. Northwood Lena Lady Gators defeated North Central 57-40 for their first LA State 1A Basketball Championship.
