Turn To Your Neighbor

Luke 10:25-37 There is a popular phrase many Church leaders say, and that’s, “Turn to your neighbor and say…..!” It calls for others to tell those near them, whatever the leader specifically says. Most times, it’s an echo of something positive. It's okay, but what about turning to our neighbors for real, and not just telling them, but showing them (in action), what God says for real? Now more than ever, the doors of the Church should be open. You do know YOU ARE the Church right? The doors of your heart should be opened widely, loving God- then your neighbor. These are dark and challenging times for many, but we as Believers, are the LIGHT. When it’s dark, that’s when we shine brightest. Believers, our lost neighbors, unsaved neighbors, imprisoned neighbors, widowed neighbors, father/motherless neighbors, homeless and hopeless neighbors- need us. May we be as the good Samaritan, and not pass up an opportunity to help someone (as God leads), whether they look like us or not. I implore you Church, to turn to your neighbors (those around you, that God places upon your path to be a blessing to) and say, “I am here”. Here’s the thing though, say it with more than your mouth. Back it with actions!
