They were not allowed to go home as police blocked them from driving into their community on Friday, February 18, 2022, in south Monroe, LA. Sources allege numerous firearm shots were fired around the Parkview Apartments area. Officials have been quiet about what transpired. With the strong police presence on Jackson St. to Richwood Rd. #2, residents were perplexed about how serious the situation was and where.
