It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our loved one, Mr. Lawrence Augurson Sr., who departed this life on February 15, 2022, in Dallas, TX following a lengthy illness. Mr. Augurson was always an advocate for civil rights and an appropriate example of this was his participation in the Million Man March on Washington DC in October of 1995. He was very proud of his work in the community as it relates to increasing voter registration.
