Nathe Kindle was born December 24, 1927 in Sterlington LA, a small farming area called Horseshoe Lake. He was the youngest of four children born to Clarence Kindle and Dove Kindle (Smith). Nathe had two sisters: Lillian & L.E. and one brother: Lawyer. Nathe graduated from Horseshoe Lake Elementary School which was located in the church.
