Princess Janecia "Neci" Walker

Hearts are saddened at the hit and run death of Princess Janecia "Neci" Walker. Princess Janecia was the victim of a hit and run on Monday, December 6, 2021 after being found in the median of US Hwy 165 North by her brother and others. Princess Janecia was rushed to the hospital where she later died from injuries. On Sunday, December 12, 2021, family, friends, and Wossman Softball teammates and students celebrated the life of Princess Janecia at the Wossman High School softball field where hundreds gathered for a balloon release and a jersey retirement ceremony. Minister TreMayne January offered prayer, Wossman Assistant Principal Dena Sampson offered condolences from the school and Wossman softball coach Aubrey Crawford and Wossman softball teammates shared tributes to honor Walker's memory. Janiyah Williams shared words that brought tears to many in attendance. Princess Janecia was a very special person who died too soon. Her celebration of life is Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church, 346 Huenefeld Rd. in Monroe, LA. Visitation is Friday, December 17, 2021 at Richardson Funeral Home, 1866 Winnsboro Rd. in Monroe, LA. Burial is at St. Paul Baptist Church. The family of Princess Janecia thanks all for sharing in sweet memories. Masks required. Please remember this family in prayer.
