Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

The Ouachita Lady Lions hosted the Freddy "Bear" McHenry Memorial Basketball Tournament December 2-4, 2021 at Ouachita Parish High School in honor of long-time Athletic Director Fredrick McHenry. It was a weekend filled with fun, good basketball, family and friends of Freddy Bear, and a guest appearance by Kim Mulkey, head coach at LSU. The tournament featured Ouachita, Ruston, West Monroe, Wossman, Liberty Magnet, Parkway, Rayville, and Southern Lab. Each game was exciting, intense, and competitive as each team fought for the top spot.
