It is heartbreaking when someone dies, but it is twice as hard when life ends in a tragic way. The pain is unbearably challenging to accept when a child's life is cut short. According to reports, around midnight Saturday, September 25, 2021 a fatal shooting occurred, taking the life of a seventeen-year-old victim on Jackson St. in Monroe, LA. Sources allege the victim actually died on his birthday. The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated but eventually succumbed to gunshot wounds. A fifteen-year-old was arrested in connection with this horrific incident. The suspect, who is a juvenile, will face second-degree murder and an illegal possession charge.
