Making Lemonade

We use three simple ingredients: lemons, water, and sugar. Lemons, in taste, are very bitter fruits. The fruit is in the citrus family and contains high acidic properties. They are versatile fruits that can be used in cooking and even cleaning. Water is one of the things essential to living things' survival. When added, it expands the flavor. Sugar is sweet-tasting granulated molecules. Derived from sugarcane that grows from the ground, sugar is pressed and milled into granular crystals and then added to sweeten things. The sugar crystals are mixed with other ingredients until it dissolves or combines into a mixture. It is then no longer as its once recognizable form. It blends to provide the sweetness to what the other things need to taste good. The ingredients for lemonade, by itself, are not as fulfilling or as good as a glass of lemonade. A lemon is just bitter, water is bland, and sugar is without flavor.


In life, the same as we make lemonade, we should shape our attitudes and demeanor as we interact with one another, full of the necessary ingredients but blended to taste well. A lemon - reflecting honesty and integrity - can sometimes be a bit much for those who are not used to it or understand its importance. Water - what is necessary and important; Sugar - piquant or agreeable - should only be added in moderation. What is most appreciated and best received is when all ingredients are stirred together. When you leave home and interact with others, try your best not to leave home without combining all three.
