The Friday September 17, 2021 DownSouth Sports Magazine "Game of the Week" featured Carroll vs. Ouachita. The Ouachita Lions had a nail biter Homecoming victory over the Carroll Bulldogs by the score of 15-12. Ouachita running back, Carldell Sirmons was named "Most Valuable Player" of the game with 22 carries for 131 yards, 2 catches for 47 yards and a touchdown. The DownSouth Sports MVP trophy was presented by Ouachita Head Football Coach Todd Garvin and sponsored by The Monroe Dispatch and Aubrey's Graphic Designs.
