Fall Leaves, God Doesn't

September 9, 2021

The scripture “For all things work” from the book of Romans takes on another meaning for me in the fall of each year. Fall is my favorite time of the year because it reminds me of God’s intentions. It’s so interesting to me how the seasons change. We have the Winter, where everything in nature goes into hibernation. There is a beauty in the stillness the Winter creates. After Winter comes Spring, where refreshing rains bring magnificent blooms. Then comes Summer with the energizing sun and peaceful starry nights. The way God makes the seasons change is the same way that we can change too. I know I certainly do at least. The Winter makes me hibernate and plan. Spring helps me restore and refresh things. The Summer keeps me light, and the Fall leads to the release of things. If we go with God’s flow we will see that Romans scripture come to life. How can you realign yourself with God's flow and plan in this Fall season? What are some things you need to shed in order to evolve in the ways according to His purpose for you?
