Going into the 2020 season, most people including myself thought that in order for the Carroll Bulldogs to be successful that it would be solely on the arms and legs of QB Tony Hollins. although, that theory was reasonable it wasn’t true. the dogs chose to ride the legs of a sophomore Amaryea Greely instead. after a strong campaign the ended with Greely amassing over 1000 yards of total offense, the sturdy all-purpose back will be called upon to do even more this year. Greely has the size and speed to become an every-down back but may also be Carroll’s most polished receiver as well. Carroll coaches have praised the 5’10 200lb junior for the amount of time he’s put into the program and they’re guaranteeing that positive results will follow. the bulldogs peaked to as high as #3 in the state a year ago and if they want to accomplish that again in 2021 than a hefty dose of Greely will be the reason why.
