It was a beautiful summer day when Reverend Perlum and Perceille McCaa Toombs welcomed their 8th of 9 children, Clara Etta Toombs, affectionately known as 'Tiki', into the world in Monroe, LA on June 27th, 1953. Clara was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Perlum Benjamin Toombs and Perceille McCaa Toombs, her two brothers Percy and Perlum Toombs Jr., and two sisters, Lullie Toombs Whitehead and Sharon Toombs Wilborn.
