LA Legendary Football Coach Mackie Freeze of Terzia/Richwood High Schools was inducted into the 2020 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches, LA on Saturday, June 26. 2021. Other 2020 inductees along with Coach Freeze were Ronnie Coleman, Lou Dunbar, Kerry Kittles, Phil Robertson, Charles Tillman, Angela Turner-Johnson, Kent Lowe, Robin Fambrough, Joan Cronan and Tim Brando. Coach Freeze made history as the organization's oldest inductee at age 94 and won 4 consecutive Louisiana State AA (LIOLA)Football Championships while not losing a football game from 1961-1964.
