Yulonda Yvette “Pookie” Hollins was born December 4, 1972 in Monroe, LA, to Dorothy Chatman and Joe Jackson. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a powerful woman of God. She spent her time raising her five children, loving others, and cleaning and beautifying anything she touched. Yulonda rededicated her life to God in 2018 when she became a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church. She loved to attend church. She worked in the church by helping with the youth praise dance team.
