Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Excitement is an understatement to express the joy in our hearts to reunite again. Again Bunches and Bunches of Family Fun was celebrated on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the home of Larry Wright, Sr., in Farmerville LA. Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate their Greatest Legacy Recie Mae Frazier Hollis, passionately known as "Madear". Members of the descendants in attendance included: Families of the Hollis, Wright, Lewis, Yarborough, Elliott, West, Washington, Bowden, Lusk, Lawson, Davis, Dunn, Straughter, Johnson and Boston. The family was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to be able to come together again in recognition of their SHE-RO "MRS. RECIE". They fellowshipped with games, dancing competitions, Special Video Tribute to the Hall of Famer Larry Wright, Sr., games, laughter, music, reminiscing, and GOOD LORD, BUNCHES AND BUNCHES OF GREAT SOUL FOOD. Eagerly awaiting next year's reunion to be the same or even better.
