One of life's worst uncertainties is a tragic accident or suffering a fatal, life-threatening illness. What led to the shooting of a local young woman, Lakeitha Brown, remains a mystery. Brown is fighting for her life after being shot in the wee hours of the morning. Family members are miffed and devastated by this horrific tragedy that has changed their lives forever. According to police reports, Monroe Police are investigating what could have happened after she was found shot in Monroe, LA on June 10, 2021, near the intersection of South 28th and Louberta St. Police report she had been shot numerous times in the leg. She was on her way to work when this disaster occurred. Brown was taken to an area hospital and was last listed in serious condition. Please pray hard for the victim and her family.
