Hearts are saddened at the passing of hometown hero Ambrose Jenkins, 66 of Monroe, LA. Ambrose made his way to King's Row Tuesday, May 25, 2021. His parents were the late Rev. Emma Thompson Richardson and the late Ben Jenkins. Ambrose was a Carroll 1972 graduate, where he was an All-Star basketball player and talented musician who could play several instruments. He honorably served in the United States Army and obtained veteran status. Ambrose was a skilled electrician before his health began to fail.
