2021 Still in Bondage

As the years pass, have things become better or worse for people of color and the poor. Looking around in Monroe LA, the environment south Monroe seems dismal without hope, while looking in north Monroe the difference is noticeable. Will Blacks, people of color and the poor find common ground to transform their neighborhoods. One start is to keep our neighborhoods clean.

2021 Still in Bondage

2021 Still in Bondage

Black people have been denied the fruit of our labor through Jim Crow laws, convict leasing and the redlining and urban renewal that have destroyed Black neighborhoods.

Don’t Ever Forget

You are black, others will remind you with high interest rates, unfair voting reform, redlining, high prison incarcerations and injustice.
