Beast of the Week Senior Basketball Athletes from 22 schools in Northeast LA came to the George "Vamp' Belton Sports Complex at Wossman High School in Monroe LA on Saturday April 24, 2021 Over 20 seniors(girls and boys) 2021 basketball hoopsters participated in The Beast of the Week All Star Game. Activities included three-point shootout, a slam dunk contest and an all-star basketball game. Many of the Beast of the Week All Stars received full ride scholarships after the All Star Game to play at the next level. This event was to give area hoopsters in Northeast LA the spotlight they deserve. Beast of the Week Girls West included Neville Jasmyne Anderson, JoJo Briggs, Mia Hardin, Dakayla Howard and Ja'Nidijah Meadows, Tensas Caliyah Gibson and Madison Smith, West Monroe Taylor Henderson, Madison Rayliah McDonald and Jonesboro Chmya Waters. Beast of the Week Girls East Wossman Takizeya Baker and Slexia Elder, Jonesboro Yahzmyne Andrews, Carroll Akyra Briggs and Kenlencia Wilson, Ouachita Breanna Day, West Monroe Makayla and Shkayla Glass, Simsboro Alexia Hester, OCS Conleigh Laster, Ruston Kiara McWain and Lakeview Zenobia Poydras.
