Suspicious Hwy 165 So. Death

A suspicious pedestrian death on US Highway 165 South on Wednesday April 14, 2021 have those who knew Ernest Eugene Harper Jr. questioning his death. According to police reports a single vehicle crash killed a pedestrian on US Highway 165 near the Ouachita Correctional Center. A vehicle driven by Jeremy Badger headed southbound stuck Ernest Harper Jr. as he was walking in the southbound lane. Those who knew Ernest don't understand how Ernest traveled that far down Highway 165 knowing he didn't frequent that section of town. The crash is under investigation according to police.
