Bronze Star Hero Alfred B. Horne

Alfred B. Horne was born November 15, 1932 to Abraham and Emma Horne in Rayville LA. Horne was a graduate of Rhymes High School in Rayville LA. He earned an A.A. Degree from Sacramento City College. Horne was a member of St. Joe Missionary Baptist Church and America Legion Post 521. His hobbies included fishing, camping and photography. He was married to Cora Jones in 1962 where two children were born to this union Kenneth and Marla. In 1952, Horne joined the US Army serving in Korea and Vietnam.
