LA Constitutional Firearms Bill... Permit Less Concealed Carry

Senator Jay Morris (R-West Monroe) has filed Senate Bill 118, which will confirm citizens’ constitutional right to bear arms, including carrying a concealed weapon without the necessity of a permit. The bill will allow all persons over the age of 21 who are not convicted felons to carry a concealed weapon without obtaining a concealed carry permit. This measure is often referred to as a “constitutional carry law,” which 18 other states have already passed.
