Pistol Whipped/Robbery

Danger lurks everyday we live. Makes you wonder if there will ever be an end to the madness or will we have to live with life's dangers. According to police reports, on March 28, 2021, Suspect Ladarrius M. Washington allegedly battered a victim by hitting him in the face and head with a black handgun. The suspect then allegedly pointed the handgun at a female victim, ordering her to lay face down on the ground taking $200 from her at gunpoint. Both victims fled on foot after the robbery and battery while the suspect pursued them in a gold Buick vehicle. The suspect was located in said vehicle, confirming his identity while being questioned and placed in handcuffs, advised of his Miranda rights. Because of the nature of the crimes and the suspect's admission of the vehicle, a vehicle search was conducted to locate the firearm. While the firearm was not located, illegal substances were found inside the vehicle. Witnesses present during the crime advised they witnessed the suspect commit the crimes accused. The suspect denied having knowledge of any of the events he was charged. The suspect was booked and charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery and possession of CDS-1.
