Shooting deaths are happening at a rapid pace in Monroe, LA. On Monday, March 15, 2021, witnesses allege a shooting occurred on Berg Jones Lane and Conover St. where a person was shot and killed. Parish deputies raced to the crime scene. No report of the alleged shooting has been reported by law enforcement at press time. Monroe Dispatch sources have no knowledge of who was murdered but did report that a shooting took place.
