Residents in south Monroe were seen making the trek to purchase more groceries at a local grocery store, Tuesday afternoon, February 16, 2021 in anticipation of more ice and snow scheduled to fall early morning, on Wednesday Feb. 17 and Thursday Feb. 18 . Many roads and parking lots are still covered in white. All are urged to proceed with caution when traveling around town, but strongly advised to stay home. Be careful, Monroe LA!
