Sexual relationships with minors or anyone under the age of 17 is against the law. According to reports, police were called on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 to North 33rd Street in Monroe, LA answering the call of an alleged shooting. Police began looking for a juvenile after receiving information on the shooting suspect. According to eyewitnesses, the teen suspect was located in Katreese Bosley's apartment. Investigating officers were refused entry of the home until obtaining a search warrant, where they found the 16-year-old shooting suspect in a back bedroom, a pound of synthetic marijuana, and two loaded firearms. Police learned that Bosley, 22, had intimate relations with the then 16-year-old and was pregnant, and had been in a relationship for at least one year. Both Bosley and the teen lived together off and on in a domestic relationship where Bosley knew the teen's age. The teen was taken to Green Oaks Detention Center on charges of firing shots and firearms and drug possession. Bosley was charged with interfering with an investigation, delinquency of a minor, possession with intent to distribute a schedule l narcotic, illegal weapons carry, and felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
