Annie Horace Davis was born to the late John B. Horace and Rebecca Emerson Horace, November 25, 1912, in Monroe LA. Annie was the eldest of three children. One sister, Lovie Lee Kelly (Lil Sister) and one brother, John Brice Horace (Brother) both preceding her in death. Annie departed this life on January 12, 2021, after a brief illness. Annie attended early school at King Solomon Baptist Church. She continued her education at Monroe Colored High School until the 10th grade, when she left to stay home and tend to her ailing mother.
