Living is difficult due to uncertainties from day to day for those vulnerable. Its very easy to lose your spot in life's journey from a circumstance beyond your control. The pressure of a moment unexpected can cause unpredictable outcomes not anticipated. According to police reports on January 9, 2021, law enforcement was dispatched to Worley St. in Monroe LA to a domestic dispute. According to the victim Suspect Verlica Perry held a kitchen knife to his neck allegedly to cut the victim's throat. While lying on a couch when the incident happened was when the victim jumped up from the suspect attempting to get the knife from the suspect. There were cuts on the victim's throat according to police making testimony credible while the suspect suffered a cut on her hand as the victim tried to subdue the suspect. The suspect was advised of Miranda Rights which the suspect waived. The suspect denied placing knife on the victim's throat and was arrested on one count of aggravated battery.
