Oh, Shelia how we miss you so much already. Shelia the day has come and now you rest in a peaceful slumber. Shelia LaVonne Hollis Lewis graced the world with her beautiful presence on a bright and blessed day of August 23, 1946. She was born in Fondale LA., as the second child, first daughter of Phil Hollis and Recie Mae Hollis. Shelia was a 1964 graduate of Richwood High School.

On January 12, 2021, Shelia gained her heavenly wings and now rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Phil Hollis and Recie Mae Hollis. Three brothers: Phil Earl Hollis, Donell Wright and Willie Clarence Bowden and her son Rodney Demetrius.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 53 years John Willie Lewis, Two daughters: Recie Lewis and Decie. Two sons: John Purnell (Kristine) and Michael Houston. Three granddaughters: Porscha Boston, Jazmyne Lewis and Endyah Lewis. One grandson: Shawn Purnell. One great-granddaughter, Legaci "Bubbles" Lewis. Four brothers: Ronald Hollis (Delores), Lonzo Wright, Jr. (Bridgette), Larry Wright, Sr. (Jacqueline) and Darick Wright. Two sisters: Mildred Yarborough and Linda Darrington. One God-daughter: Tracy Jones (Brian) and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bunches and Bunches of love...If love could have spared you, you would have lived forever. Arrangements for services are presently being made. Services will be entrusted to Hester Central Funeral in Monroe LA.
