On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, on the steps of Monroe City Hall, Monroe City Marshal Robert Cherry, his chief deputy, and city marshals were sworn in by Judge Alvin Sharp and Retired Judge Elvis Stout before family and friends. Monroe City Marshal Robert Cherry takes command from retiring City Marshal Wince Highshaw.
