In 1964 Eula D. Britton High School a black school in Rayville, LA won the 2A basketball championship Elvin Hayes, Harry Lewis, and myself Henry Davison were on that team. When it came time to celebrate our notable achievement, the leadership of the town of Rayville, and the school board wouldn't allow the band and students to March through the town, rejecting our institution.
