A shooting at a shopping mall in Sacramento, California on Black Friday has left two teenage brothers dead. The victims were 19-year-old Dewayne James, Jr., who was pronounced dead at the scene, and 17-year-old Sa’Quan Reed-James, who died at a local hospital. The brothers who were very involved in football and basketball had recently moved to Sacramento, CA from Monroe LA with their family. 18-year-old Damario Beck has been arrested in connection with the vicious attack at the mall that started with a verbal dispute. A candlelight vigil took place Saturday in California in honor of the slain teens. Jamilia Land, a Reed family spokesperson, said, “This family will never be the same again. As a community, we should be outraged. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Of what we are not doing.”
