The Louisiana Municipal Association (LMA) sent former Monroe mayor Jamie Mayo off in style, honoring him with the organization's Presidential Award earlier this month. The event held in Baton Rouge recognized Mayo for his outstanding 25 years of service to the city of Monroe as both mayor and councilman.
