P.E.E.P Thanksgiving Event "bringing light to dark places."

Community action group P.E.E.P. will host their annual Thanksgiving Event on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 11am at the P.E.E.P. Corporate Office at 1411 Orange St. in Monroe LA. According to P.E.E.P. President Kenneth Wilson, 125 turkeys will be provided to needy families with all the trimmings which traditionally come with a hearty Thanksgiving Dinner. P.E.E.P. has been the light in dark places for 25 years now while each year God has blessed P.E.E.P. to reach more families. With this year being P.E.E.P. 's "Silver Anniversary" relative to this event a special moment is planned to honor the historical service of one of P.E.E.P.'s longtime members, who has now gone home to Glory! P.E.E.P. President Kenneth Wilson informed the Monroe Dispatch the legacy and memory of P.E.E.P. 's late member, Elaine Clay will be recognized and memorialized at this year's event as a tribute. Families within the city of Monroe LA and families from surrounding areas are encouraged to contact P.E.E.P. for more information.
