MHA Preservation Mills-Cutting the ribbon at Preservation Mills was Monroe Housing Executive Director William V. Smart, Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis, Monroe Chamber Sue Nicholson, South Pointe Retirement Community Manager Sharon Taylor and Monroe Housing Authority Staff.
Monroe Housing Authority Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House was held Thursday October 29, 2020 at Preservation Mills affordable single -family rental homes for working families. Preservation Mills is a housing infill project consisting of 23 newly constructed single-family homes. These homes were developed in between Peach and Beauregard Streets along South 3rd and 4th Street. This project of a Neighborhood Revitalization effort through partnership with the City of Monroe.
