It is written that if you have 100 sheep and 1 of them go astray, you should leave the 99 that are still in the fold and seek to find the 1 that is lost. This is a fundamental teaching of Jesus that those who claim to follow Him seem to have forgotten. I was inspired to write this poem as a reminder to us of our duty to those who are lost. My prayer is that we would honestly examine our practices to see how they measure up with the teachings of Jesus and find the strength to make the adjustments that will bring us more in line with the message He brought.
