Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

September 10, 2020

I once rejected God in my life

Said, "Jesus never died for me"

Didn't believe in all His sacrifice

That He hung, bled and died on a tree.

But, when the winds of my life start blowing

And, they knock me right on down to my knees

When the tears from my eyes are flowing

And, there was no one to comfort me..

I can call on the name of Jesus

There is no other help I know

That is willing and able to reach us

When our life is headed down below.

The power of the blood

That ran down Mary's baby's face

Showed me there was a love

That could wash all of my sins away.

The grace and loving mercy
