Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

No one could have told us that a hurricane three hundred miles away could cause this type of damage on Thursday August 27. The winds were 50+ miles per hour causing power outages throughout Louisiana. Monroe LA was struck with destructive winds which had Southside resident Willie B. Welch praying and thanking God the trees fell in her backyard and not on her house.
