Hearts are saddened upon the passing of one of God's faithful servants Elaine Clay. Tirelessly, she worked to make others have a better life. She was a servant for people in any capacity. No job was too big or small. Her community service to the city did not go unnoticed. She was everywhere serving from Southpointe Community Center to P.E.E.P. etc. helping box items to serving meals. There was never a job Elaine couldn't perform. Elaine Gilbert Clay was born on December 3, 1951 in Gilbert, Louisiana to Nettie Gilbert. She moved to Monroe and was reared by her grandmother, Rosie Gilbert. She wa...
