Kenneth Wilson, City Councilman of District 4, along with P.E.E.P. Inc. donated $1000 to Ouachita Multi-Purpose Community Action Program (OMCAP) on Juneteenth June 19, 2020. The funds donated will be applied to the utility bills of citizens who have had a loss of wages due to COVID-19 or who have had added expenses due to the April 12,2020 Tornado. OMCAP was chosen as the recipient of this donation because they are no stranger to helping citizens in the community who need assistance and OMCAP already has a system in place for making sure that those in need are helped.
