Gwendolyn "Gwen" Harris will no longer be found at Lee Jr. High School Monroe LA, since she has shared her final goodbyes to colleagues and students this year after retiring. A retirement celebration was held on Saturday, August 2, 2020 to commemorate over 20 years at the school. Family, friends, school administrators, and colleagues showed up to send Gwendolyn off in style. Current principal, Mrs. Dana Mullins spoke thoughtful words about her time spent with Gwendolyn along with her brother, Jimmy Harris, who presented his sister with a beautiful bouquet of purple roses to celebrate her. Happy Retirement Gwendolyn!
