Sister Lucille Black Lewis was born on March 12, 1966. She was a woman of faith, power and endurance. Sister Lewis departed this world Friday July 24, 2020. She leaves behind a legacy which will remembered and cherished for a lifetime. Her warm God-filled spirit was present with her presence. Her memory of labor is now her reward. Lucille Black-Lewis better known as Cille was born to the late Henry James Black and Pearlie Guillory-Black in Monroe LA. Lucille was a wife and mother of seven children and 5-step children. She attended Living Water Outreach Church under the leadership of her brother, Pastor Luther Black. Lucille was talented who was great at writing and organizing events. She has a big smile and an even bibber heart attracting friendships from many. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Denisia Renea Dade, brothers Anthony Guillory, Henry James Black Jr., Dewayne Black and Bobby Ray Simmons. Left to cherish fond memories are husband James Lewis Monroe LA, three sons Tobias Black Caston (Veltrice) Houston TX, Jeremy Black (Tiffany) Monroe LA, Henry J. Black Garland TX, four daughters Pearl Black Lewis (Nick) Grambling LA, De'Erika Black Garland TX, A'kira Black Monroe LA five step children LaShundra, Terrance, Shakie, Alonzo and Sabrina Lewis. Romans 14:8 If we live, we live for the Lord and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Graveside service is Thursday July 30, 2020 at Richwood Memorial Gardens Richwood LA. Masks are required to attend. (No exceptions)
