Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

The educational foundation of Eta Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. 25th Scholarship Awards was held Saturday June 25, 2020 at Living Water Ministries International in Monroe LA. The theme was Education: Igniting to Impact the New Decade, where ten young male high school scholars were presented $1000 scholarships. Outstanding Scholarship 2020 Award Recipients were Myles Grayson, John Harris, Jalen Jones, Calvin Kemp, Malcolm Moore, Jordan Rabun. Jalen Robinson, Richard Smith, Tanner Staten and Joshua Taylor. Program Participants included Alpha Brothers Richard D. Smith Jr., Jimmy Washington and Alcide Baker. Due to Coronavirus and social distancing each 2020 Award Recipients and family had a special time slot allocated to receive their scholarship award.
