The 37th Annual Rose of Sharon Baptist Church Millard Dean Lee Memorial Scholarship Program was Sunday, July 19, 2020. Guest speaker for the event was Dr. Quentin Holmes, Sr., Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Grambling State University. Due to the pandemic and following the social distancing guidelines, the program was held outside under the porte-cochere (front entrance of the church). Rose of Sharon Membership remained in their vehicles to watch and celebrate graduates and scholastic achievers. Scholarship recipients Millard Dean Lee Memorial Scholarship - Deja Gipson; Milton A. Jackson Memorial and Rose of Sharon Baptist Church Scholarships; Kamari Johnson and Denise Marie Perkins Memorial Scholarship - Tamaria Pitts-Brown *The Scholarship for Denise Marie Perkins was not printed on the program because it was a surprise to her family. *
