Monroe Dispatch - No Struggle, No Progress

Both clubs Birthday Fellowship and Tiger Men Fellowship Clubs recognize Dr. Joseph Dr. Joseph Capers, Sr. for his leadership, dedication and continued emphasis on the importance of fellowshipping. Among Dr. Joseph Capers, Sr's accomplishments include retired academic dean and former recruiter of Grambling State University, retired judicial judge and lay person of C.M.E. Churches, second Black car salesperson of Lincoln Parish in the 1970's[JD1] [JD2] , organizer of the birthday and Tiger Men Fellowship Clubs, perfect attendance during his 40-year tenure at Grambling State University, recording steward of C.M.E. Church, served in the Korean War, publisher of Christian articles in the Christian Index and Monroe Dispatch. We recognize a quiet giant in our midst who's service to God and man is astounding. Praise God for Dr. Joseph Capers, Sr.
