Mourners gathered

Residents of the Monroe gathered for an emergency vigil to uplift the community after a murder-suicide disrupted the city, at 7:45PM on Thursday, June 11, 2020. The vigil was held the next day on Friday, June 12, at 7:45PM, the exact same time as the slaying occurred. Community leader Rev. Vance Price organized the vigil, proclaiming a cleansing over the city, with other religious leaders gathering to pray and offer words of encouragement to all those in mourning.
