Following the White House COVID-19 guidance and in line with Governor John Bel Edwards’ Order for the State of Louisiana, Monroe City Court transitioned to Phase II on June 5, 2020. The Court wants the public to be reminded that the following may be handled in-person: pay fines, file civil pleadings, warrant recall requests, reset missed court dates, and obtain extensions, etc.; however, the Court continues encouraging everyone to work remotely whenever possible and utilize resources such as fax filing.
